Tendulker opus

Yes, the book 'Tendulkar Opus' contains the blood of world famous 37 year old cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The Tendulkar Opus is being released in February next year, with 10 copies being printed using his blood celebrating the renowned batsman's career.

This [Sachin Opus] book cost $75,000(approx 35.2 lacs) surprised? But people have already booked their copies out of the limited edition. But don’t worry for those who cant pay the hefty price the "regular" edition is available at $2000-3000 (Rs 94,000-1,41,000).

The publisher will print 1,000 such copies, and all will be signed by Tendulkar and include a DNA map, but no actual blood. High-end publishing houses like Kraken are pushing the boundaries of extravagance and novelty in the luxury book market.

It's not the first time blood ink has been used to help promote a publication. Rock band KISS donated vials of their blood for the red ink used in a Marvel comic book in 1977. Such books are being treated as investments and sometimes commanding prices usually reserved for original art
works.

Key thing here is that Sachin Tendulkar, to millions of people, is a religious icon. And we thought how, in a publishing form, can you get as close to your god as "The signature page will be mixed with Sachin's blood — mixed into the paper pulp, so it's a red resin.

It is what it is — you will have Sachin's blood on the page,"publisher Kraken Media's chief executive Karl Fowler is quoted as saying by the Guardian newspaper. Apart from his blood, Tendulkar has also been asked for a sample of his saliva which would be used to create his DNA profile and would be printed on a two-metre gate-fold in the book.

The Tendulkar Opus will run to 852 pages and weigh 37 kilograms. Each page is half a metre square and edged in gold leaf. The book will contain about 1500 images and more than 300,000 words.All proceeds from the sale of these books would go towards Tendulkar's charitable foundation to help build a school in Mumbai.

yes..!!! about kerala's IPL team

I know all are in d "mazza' of IPL. Atlast v d Keralites also hav an IPL team.But someone says dat IPL is not a league of cricket its simply some sort of gambling.There is an another opinion that this will promote our tourism and will be an asset to our economy.Now itz ur turn

My attachment to her was quiet coincidental,
but rather incidental.
That day will be always remembered,
not due to the marrow of the day,
but because of her importance.

Even though i had known her before,
knowing in detail about her was a wondrous thing,
soon i personally adhered to her.

Our relation grew unimaginably,
our relation like a cardiogram had ups and downs,
But we always compromised.

She often annoys me,
which gives her immense pleasure,
and which gives me immense anger.
She frequently intercessed with me for her friends.

At some module of my life,
she became my sibling.
An ever rememberable moment of my life,
a fortune from the almighty,
it was a great crowning.

Our communal rivalry often lead to
friendly conflicts between us,
in which i have to give up at the end.

I often put her in dilemmas,
she often devised my activities,
which i accepted with full happiness.
It was a florescent period of my life.

None of my friends could understand the essence of our relation,
they often criticised our relation,
which i hesisted without any doubt.
She was more than enough for me to balance all my friends.

I want her to be with me,
Now and always.
Amd my sweetest hope is,
to have her around me
Through out my life.......
